Year End Update

Inside church

Sandra and Nilton Celebrating

Three years ago Nilton and Sandra left their successful business and moved to the interior town of Murumuru to plant a church. During this time, and much faster than they had imagined, they raised up a strong body of believers and are also planting other churches. This past weekend we had a wonderful celebration as we dedicated their new church building. With tears of joy, Nilton and Sandra were overwhelmed at what God has done! But the dedication service was nothing compared to the stories of the lives that have been changed in Murumuru.

Julie and Fiance

One of those people was Julie. Although raised in Murumuru, as a teenager she left home and went to the large capital city of Manaus to “discover life.” However, what she discovered was misery. She became involved with activities that were leading her to destruction. Her life was so empty and she entered into depression.

Finally, coming to her senses, she decided to return home. Now 29 years old, she discovered love and acceptance like she had never known before from the members of the church. She discovered that the people were so loving because they had also experienced the love and forgiveness that only Christ offers us as we give our lives to Him. She couldn’t resist that Love and gave her life to Jesus! The depression is gone! She now has purpose for her life! She is finishing high school and is engaged to a Christian from the Murumuru church!

Disciples we took with us.

This type of story is being repeated many times over. People living sacrificial lives, giving their time and finances to reach the unreached.

And, like Julie, through the one-on-one discipleship happening throughout the PAZ churches people are being loved, cared for, and challenged to fulfill the call of God on their lives!

Having fun on the Moto

We feel so privileged to have you standing alongside PAZ. Your love has been so evident through the prayers and finances and the teams that have come to physically participate. Thank you so much!

As we come to the close of 2014 we would like to challenge you to give liberally to PAZ as you do your year-end giving. We have plenty of needs for more boats, motorcycles, four-wheel-drive vehicles, church construction, training centers, etc. as we continue our outreach. PAZ operates debt-free and charges no administrative fees.

We pray that God will continue to richly pour out His blessings on your lives as He has done with PAZ. With God’s help we will do mighty things!

In Christ,
Jeff and Becky, for the PAZ Team
