Jeff and Becky Hrubik

Directors of Project AmaZon

Jeff and Becky Hrubik came to Santarém, Brazil as missionaries with Project AmaZon in March, 1982. They worked alongside Becky’s brother, PAZ founder Luke Huber, establishing the mission’s medical ministries as well as organizing and developing Project AmaZon.

The Hrubik Family

After Luke went home to be with the Lord, Jeff and Becky were made directors of the mission under the covering of Melvin Huber and the PAZ board of directors.

Jeff and Becky oversee the PAZ bases across the Amazon Basin and also provide supervision for the other American and Brazilian missionaries working with PAZ. They teach frequently in the church and at conferences, especially on matters related to marriage and family. They continue to push towards PAZ’s goal of planting 100,000 churches.

Jeff and Becky have four children — Ruth (husband Nate), Beth (husband Bruno), Paul and Debbie — who love the Lord and have given their lives to His full-time service.

We already see God’s hand at work. The Venezuelan Consul to Brazil who lives in Boa Vista, the capital city in the state of Roraima, is a Christian and member of our church there. He volunteered to accompany us on this trip which will facilitate our trave...

28 December 2011, 2:01 pm | from The Hrubik Family Blog

Dear Friends and Family, It has been an incredible year!  Becky and I visited most of our bases during the year, encouraging our workers as well as sharing on missions and family life.  Becky also led a team from Brazil to Japan for a 50 day outreach to the tsunami and earthquake devastated regions of the country.  Both the Japanese and our team were deeply touched.  Becky can’t share her experiences without crying. Our whole family was present for a big family reunion in W. Va. to celebra...
