John and Silvia Eisenmann

Japan

John, Silvia, and their three boys are based in metropolitan Tokyo. They moved to Japan in 2014 to support and minister in a city church plant. They are now leading cell groups, discipling, and performing church administrative duties as part of a dynamic church leadership team, working to establish a church planting movement within the Japanese and international community of Japan.

Outside of church activities and language studies, the Eisenmann family enjoys hiking, camping, and anything else outdoors. John is currently pursuing an MA at Wheaton College, while Silvia lives the exciting role of mother-of-three.

John & Silvia started their missionary careers as singles in Santarem, Brazil before marrying in 2010. John worked to create and maintain a database of over 650 PAZ church plants, support rural church construction projects in the Amazon Basin, while ministering to city youth through the local PAZ church. Silvia supported rural church planting through her role as a nutritionist on the PAZ health team.

The Eisenmann’s are passionate for God’s glory and on mission for His name’s sake. They desire to see a move of the Holy Spirit in Japan, where churches flourish and lives are transformed through disciples making disciples of Jesus Christ.
