Leadership Training - Equipping the Saints

From the very beginning, Project AmaZon (PAZ) recognized the crucial importance of training Brazilian believers to become strong, fruitful leaders. By training, equipping and sending Brazilians, PAZ is fueling a sustainable national movement to establish God's kingdom in this great harvest field.

By God’s grace and faithfulness, PAZ has transitioned from being an American-led movement into a vibrant, fast-growing church that is predominantly led by Brazilians. Virtually all of our pastors and leaders are homegrown, volunteering and working purely for the love of God.

TADEL

Weekly TADEL leadership training at Central Church

In order to build a strong biblical foundation for our workers, PAZ churches provide several types of leadership training (in additional to discipleship). There are one-year leadership classes (CTL) complete with its' own curriculum, there are weekly leadership trainings (TADEL) in every church for all cell group leaders, and there are several conferences geared towards equipping and encouraging our workers (MDA Conference, Missions Conference, etc.). In addition, PAZ is in the process of developing curriculum for higher levels of studies for Pastors and Missionaries.

PAZ nourishes our leaders with one-to-one discipleship and cultivates their leadership skills and gifts within the cell groups; each leader assuming new responsibilities at every phase and growing in knowledge and experience (the MDA Vision).

Because the PAZ church is growing so fast, and we have so many young Christians in need of discipleship, it is our constant prayer that the Lord will help us raise up strong disciplers and leaders.
