The Amazon Basin is an amazing area two-thirds the size of the contenental U.S. filled with a huge variety of animals, plants and lots and lots of water. See what makes missions in this area so challenging and rewarding.
The Amazon Basin has some of the largest diversity of animals for any one area on the planet. Many animals are fun to find out in the wild, and others are much better viewed separated by the safety of a computer screen!
At the center of PAZ's history is the missionary family of Melvin Huber. God gave Luke Huber (Melvin's son) the vision to win the Amazon for Christ. Years of faithfully serving the Lord has made PAZ what it is today.
No paved highways. No trains or tracks. Just miles and miles of water and jungle. See how we get around to plant churches.
PAZ churches come in all different shapes and sizes. Some are made to stand in flood water and others a made to accommodate hundreds and hundreds of people.
The people of the Amazon Basin have little if any health care available to them, so PAZ reaches out; sending boats, doctors and teams to give the Healer's touch and share the Gospel.
